Two upcoming talks
I will be giving a plenary address on Thursday April 21 at the upcoming “Crossdisciplinary Consortium” at the University of Colorado, Boulder (the conference dates on the website are wrong- it has been expanded to include Thursday-Saturday). I will be presenting my recent paper “Embodied Cognition and Cultural Practice: A Phenomenological Critique of the Extended Mind Hypothesis.”
On Friday April 29 I will be presenting at the UC Irvine Dept. of Comparative Literature’s graduate student conference on commitment. I will be giving a talk called “To What Shall We Commit? The Phenomenology of Motives and the Motives of Phenomenology.”
